Our vision is to provide a curriculum that ensures our trainees enter teaching well-equipped to collaboratively raise standards in computing pedagogy.

Why RAISE ?
We are an organization which is specifically designed to prepare graduates, unqualified teachers and non-specialist qualified teachers to teach computing. This is ideal for graduates that have a degree which is not in computing or computer science,  qualified teachers  wanting middle leadership roles in computing or to support qualified teachers wanting to change their subject delivery.

RAISE has the unique assets of computer science specialists with Degrees in Computing, as well as experience in industry with solution design and implementation. Our team has been recognized by ‘Inside Government’ for Computing excellence in schools, with a track record of exceeding the national results. RAISE has experience in delivering Initial Teacher Training programmes,  with a 100% pass rate for trainees completing School based and PGCE Training. We offer research informed practice from a team of senior and middle leaders with experience in teaching in inner and outer London schools. RAISE is the perfect provider to prepare graduates to teach. Our provision is a hybrid programme of online and face to face provision for difficult to access aspects of computing including programming and computational maths.
